Mark and I spent all Friday, Saturday, and Sunday down in Denver attending TactiCon 2009, a local tradeshow hosted by the Denver Gamer's Association.

While the focus of the event is on holding tournaments for board games and miniatures (and allowing local shops to peddle their wares), we had the opportunity to set up a table and teach attendees how to play Conquest of Arthenia.

While there were many "Oh God, not a card game!!" reactions, we still had the opportunity to bring in a number of players to try out Conquest. We met plenty of interesting new characters, as well as some old familiar faces from visits to local shops.
